All EmployeesSUBJECT: Weather Related Attendance Policy
FROM:
The Business Support TeamIt is Roper Corporation policy to remain open for business on all scheduled days.
In the event of adverse weather that affects the plant's operating condition, every effort will be made to make production decisions by 5:00 a.m. Decisions about weather delays or cancellations will be immediately posted on the company Website (www.ropercorplafayette.com) and on the company phone messaging system (706-638-5100). Local TV and radio stations will also be notified, but they may not display our message for some time after notification. It is recommended that employees check the company Website or the phone system for the most up to date information about delays or cancellations. In the event of a weather interruption, if you arrive at work before getting the message that your shift has been delayed or cancelled, please do not clock in. Instead, go to the Main Cafeteria. If work is available, you may be assigned. Otherwise, you may be required to wait until the delayed start time to clock in.
Employees without access to the Internet or a telephone should tune to the following radio and televisions stations, which we will try to contact by 5:00 a.m. on the day of expected bad weather:
